HP revealed its seven new gaming-focused monitors on Tuesday, noting that it would start offering some of the new displays on that same day. Others won’t be set to release until later in 2021. Of the seven announced monitors, the cheapest options will start at $259.99, according to The Verge. They include the X27c, which features a 27-inch 1080P curved VA display, and the X27, which is priced the same for a flat 1080P IPS display. All of the new monitors will support 165Hz, which is becoming a standard number in gaming monitor refresh rates, and come in a variety of IPS or VA configurations. The X27q, which is also a 27-inch display, will include an IPS panel, a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440, and will ship for $339. The X27qc is a VA panel, situated in a 27-inch monitor casing, that also supports 1440P resolution. It’s a bit more expensive than the X27q, coming in at $349, and has a 1500R rated curve. Both the X27c and the X27qc are expected to ship in October, while the X27 and X27q are available now. Next HP has the X32, which includes a 32-inch IPS panel, no curve, and is expected to retail for $389 when it ships later this month. Meanwhile, the X32c will offer a similarly sized display, but with a VA panel situated at 1920 x 1080 resolution. The X32c also features a 1500R rated curve and will retail for $309 when it launches in October. Finally, the biggest of the new monitors, the X34, comes with a 34-inch IPS display rated at 3440 x 1440 resolution, with a 1500R rated curve. This final model will retail for $459 and is set to release in September. The new monitors will include a DisplayPort 1.4 port, as well as a HDMI 2.0 port, and a headphone jack on the chassis itself. The X27q, X32, and X34 will also support HDR400, as well as FreeSync/GSync for smoother gaming.
