OnePlus confirmed the new set of “true wireless” earbuds on Thursday in a press release sent to Lifewire. OnePlus states that the new earbuds will feature an “industry-leading” noise reduction system for clearer audio and call quality, as well as improved battery life and Bluetooth 5.2 support. The ANC system found in the OnePlus Buds Pro is purported to intelligently drown out environmental noises that might otherwise lessen audio quality, adjusting cancellation on the fly. Each earbud uses a system of three microphones and “enhanced noise reduction algorithms” to make your calls and music sound as clear as possible. The Buds Pro also feature OnePlus Audio ID, which will let users create a personal profile calibrated to their sound preferences. OnePlus also claims that the Buds Pro will be able to operate for up to 38 hours on a full charge when used with the included charging case, and up to 10 hours on a 10-minute charge. The Buds Pro will be able to be charged using OnePlus Warp Charge (which boasts a full charge in under an hour) or a third-party Qi-certified wireless charger. The OnePlus Buds Pro will be available for order in both the US and Canada on September 1 for $149.99 (currently CAD $188.75). More information can be found on the official OnePlus website as we get closer to launch.
